Age: Must be 19 years of age or older to be licensed.
Academic Requirements: Hold a high school diploma or its equivalent.
Background check: Must submit fingerprints to the Nebraska State Patrol four to six weeks prior to submitting the license application.

Applicants must submit their fingerprints to the Nebraska State Patrol 4 to 6 weeks prior to submitting their license application for taking the real estate examination in Nebraska. The application fee of $135 along with the examination fee of $150 is both due with the license application.
